Yummy PB&J

We have been learning how to write sequential texts this quarter, so to help the students understand we actually made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! After making and eating our delicious sandwiches, the students explained the process of how to make a PB&J sandwich. Check out these PB&J pros!

100 Days of First Grade

At the end of January, we were able to celebrate the 100th day of school before all the crazy, snowy weather that hit us in February! We had a great day full of lots of fun 100 activities. Each student created a "100 item hat" to wear for the day, along with our 100 fruit loop necklaces!

January Sweet Readers

So I have finally returned to the classroom from my maternity leaves and boy did we have some catching up to do!!! The students were very eager to get back to our Sweet Reader assessments and some of them really racked up the treats our first month back:) So here are ALL the January Sweet Reader Awards!!!!
